How it works

Cygnus is played on a 6x4 reel set, with round symbols held between two stone pillars. Symbols include colourful gemstones, birds, camels, cats, and the Lucky 7 casino chip. There are also three bonus symbols - the X for multipliers, the bonus runestone, and the W wild. Wilds substitute for any symbol except the bonus scatters.

The now-familiar avalanche system is in play throughout Cygnus spins. Winning symbols fall from the reels, and new symbols will fall into their place. However, Cygnus also uses ELK’s Gravity feature. Symbols that are piled up will tumble down and level off, potentially creating extra wins. Not all spins will trigger Gravity falls, but most cascades are followed by one.

Extra rows

At the start of each spin, there are four rows of symbols - offering a potential 4026 win ways. Wins read left to right, like in a standard slot game, and three or more symbols awards a payout. Multiplier meter

The X symbol can appear anywhere in the game, and it will tumble down with the other icons when there is an avalanche or gravity fall. All subsequent avalanche or gravity wins from that spin have that multiplier attached.

Free drops bonus

The free drops can only be activated if a bonus symbol falls to the left of the screen, touching the pillar at the side. 7 free drops are awarded, with the chance to retrigger once for a total of 14. During free games, the reel set is expanded to eight rows throughout, and the multiplier meter is sticky so the chance of it climbing high is significantly increased.
