Beach Slot Review
Beach-themed slots are a dime a dozen in the gaming world, but NetEnt's Beach slot does a good job of differentiating itself from the rest. Instead of the traditional reels that you see in almost every slot game, Beach has waves that wash new symbols onto the beach during every spin. You can also expect day to change to night when you get "Free Waves" (a.k.a. free spins). We'll get more into these features later, but first, let's cover the basic details of Beach.
Beach Slot Details
There are 20 paylines in this slot, and you must play all of them. The coin size is adjustable, ranging from €0.01-€1.00. You can also change the "Bet" (coins per payline) from 1-10. All of this means that the minimum bet you must make is €0.20, while the maximum possible wager is €200.00.
Symbols in this game include sand dollar letters, clams, starfish, shells, oysters, treasure chests, crabs (wild), letter in a bottle (scatter) and an octopus (wild). The crab wild symbol can only appear on reels 1, 2, 4 and 5, and it substitutes for all other symbols besides the scatter and Octopus Wild.
Beach Slot Features
The letter-in-a-bottle scatter symbol awards you 8 Free Waves (3 symbols), 16 Free Waves (4 symbols) or 24 Free Waves (5 symbols). During Free Waves, day turns to night, and you get some chances at earning free money.
As for the Octopus Wild, a purple octopus will jump onto a 2x multiplier in reel 3 and substitute for everything except the scatter and crab wild symbol. In order to help you form the highest possible win, the Octopus Wild will also swap the positions of any 2 adjacent symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4.
Beach Slot Payout (RTP%)
The RTP for Beach is 96.8%, making it pay slightly better than most NetEnt slots. Overall, Beach slot is a solid game that brings a fresh perspective to the summer theme. And given that there are no reels, but rather waves that wash symbols ashore, it sometimes doesn't even feel like you're playing a slot.
